The VBC 1663 line is produced in accordance with the principles of the ancient artisanal traditions, starting with superior quality materials.
Tumbled leather is the result of a special process that involves tumbling the hides in large steel containers. Only the “full grain”, or pieno fiore portion of each hide - the central, most highly prized part - is used, and there is a high proportion of discards (20-40 percent). The leather is tanned using exclusive processes that accentuate its softness and exalt the natural veining, both quality characteristics.

The linings, in exclusive Vitale Barberis Canonico fabric, are specially treated and waterproof, stain-resistant and ripstop.

The handles are sewn and finished by hand; the metallic details are finished with an anti-oxidant treatment, which ensures a permanently even color over time, and galvanized in a bath of precious metal: palladium or gold.
